Ereka Botkin is a sixth-grade language arts teacher. She has been using project-based learning in her classrooms for several years and has found it to be the best part of teaching. She recently graduated from Walden University with her master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.

Angela Szakasits is the AIG Specialist for Topsail Middle School and Topsail Elementary School. She also serves as the K-8 AIG Coordinator for Pender County Schools. Previously, she taught fifth grade Reading and Social Studies for seven years.
